State Archives of Bergen is part of the Archives. State Archives in Bergen holds documents from state organizations in Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane. State Archives reading room is open Monday to Friday all year, and some Saturdays a year keeps me open in the morning. In winter reading long open on Tuesday mornings.
E-mail and telephone are inflamed during working hours.
We also have a discussion forum where you can ask simple questions about the sources of the state archives, come with specific questions about the stories in the sources, or other issues that tolerate public access and does not require extensive administrative procedures.
